Hi! I’m Jessie! I built my life the way I built my vineyard—row by row, season by season, and  refusing to rush what needed time.

I am the founder of Reeds Sweet Wine in Tacoma, Washington, where I cultivate fruit wine on the land I steward myself. What began as an orchard and a quiet vision has grown into a destination where visitors gather to experience handcrafted wine, firelight evenings, and the beauty of the Pacific Northwest countryside.

I am a self-taught winemaker. My fascination with wine began not with drinking, but with the chemistry and biology behind fermentation and the way fruit transforms over time. My wines are known for their rich aroma, smooth texture, and vibrant fruit character—often described by visitors as tasting exactly like the fruit itself. Many people who believe they do not enjoy wine discover something different when they try Reed’s Sweet Wine.

The orchard itself was inspired by childhood memories with my father Mike, and our fishing trips that ended in the kitchen cutting fresh fruit together.

I still walk the Orchard at dusk when the lights come on and I remember….

Every vintage carries the fingerprint of the year it survived. And so do I.
